Your data

At DocsCorp, the security of your data is our highest priority.

It is essential you retain complete control of your data. This means knowing where your data is, whether it is on your premises, in our datacenter, or in the DocsCorp cloud, until you choose to communicate or publish that data with someone else.

DocsCorp will always let you choose where your data is stored. All DocsCorp software ensures that your data is stored only at the location(s) you choose.

While many software companies promote the fact that they help you by holding your data in the cloud, DocsCorp believes that this should only occur when you want it to. For example, when you use DocsCorp software to assist in sending a document via email to someone outside your organization, we do not store a copy of the document in a datacenter or in the DocsCorp cloud. Your document remains in your email application and servers and those of the recipients, as you would expect.

DocsCorp software may be installed in your datacenter or any infrastructure as a service provider, if you choose, and will also operate on virtualized or Remote Desktop Service (RDS) environments. Your data remains in your control.

Your data in the DocsCorp cloud

DocsCorp cloud is hosted on Microsoft Azure and developed with development tools from Microsoft, an ISO/IEC 27001 accredited organization. To meet your data protection requirements, data can be domiciled in the US, Netherlands, or Australia.

Our highly experienced engineering team incorporates security requirements from the earliest possible opportunity. They continue to address security requirements at every development phase, from initial planning to releases and updates. DocsCorp uses the best tools and engineering practices available to build and maintain the DocsCorp cloud.

The DocsCorp cloud is designed with multiple layers of protection, including secure data transfer, encryption, and application and user-level controls. These are distributed across a highly scalable and secure infrastructure provided by Microsoft Azure. Read more about Microsoft Azure security here.

Your information is confidential

Details about your organization and staff are valuable to you, and DocsCorp understands that this is provided confidentially. This information may have been provided to DocsCorp directly, or via one of its resellers. We will not sell or otherwise share information about you with other organizations or DocsCorp resellers with whom you have not engaged directly. Information about you will only be used by DocsCorp to communicate details about our products and services. If you believe that this information has been shared without your approval, please do not hesitate to alert us to this so we can ensure continued information privacy.
